The VisCool® Mattress is the coolest mattress in the Morfeo range, designed to offer a deep, cool, and balanced night's sleep every night.

Do you know that feeling of flipping over your pillow looking for the cool side? The VisCool exists so you never have to do it again. Its VisCool® layer is not a conventional breathable fabric: it is a thermoregulating material that absorbs excess body heat and dissipates it. High firmness, pocket-sprung support, and active cooling in a single mattress.

Benefits of the VisCool Mattress

  • Dual cooling technology — active and passive The top PCM fabric absorbs heat when your body generates too much and releases it when your temperature drops. The VisCool® foam reinforces this effect from below with its open-cell structure and cooling balm.
  • High firmness with ergonomic support The independent pocket-sprung core provides firm and structured support. Ideal for those who prefer to feel the mattress firm beneath them, without sinking and with the spine aligned.
  • Bed independence Each spring responds autonomously, so your partner's movements barely transfer to your side. Especially useful if one of you gets up hot or changes positions often.
  • Viscoelastic with soybean oil The VisCool® foam incorporates non-genetically modified soybean oil. OEKO-TEX® Class 1 certified.
  • For those who sleep hot If you have tried other mattresses and still wake up hot, the VisCool is the answer: active thermoregulation makes the difference compared to mattresses that only promise breathability.

Care tips

  • Removable cover, not machine washable — The PCM fabric is removable for ventilation but should not be machine washed. For occasional cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap without rubbing. Allow to dry completely before replacing.
  • Mattress protector — Essential for this model to protect the PCM fabric. Always use a breathable protector to avoid reducing the temperature-regulating effectiveness.
  • Ventilation — Periodically air out the mattress indoors. The PCM fabric and VisCool® foam retain their properties with proper use and ventilation.
  • Rotation — Rotate it 180° (head-to-foot) once a year. It is not necessary to flip it over.

What is inside the VisCool mattress?

Morfeo Viscool is designed for those who want to sleep cool all night long.

High firmness. Freshness that lasts all night.

An aligned spine is non-negotiable. Neither is sleeping without overheating. VisCool combines the high firmness of the Original Hybrid with the maximum coolness of the range.

The difference between breathability and temperature regulation

Breathability is passive. Any mattress with open-cell foam does it. Regulation is active — and only PCM does that. When your temperature rises, it absorbs it. When it drops, it releases it. The result is a surface that always feels like you've just turned over. Summer, winter, or in that early morning when your body can't decide.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How does the VisCool differ from other Morfeo mattresses?

The VisCool® is the coolest mattress in the Morfeo range. It features a layer that actively regulates temperature during the night. Unlike the Hybrid Original, which focuses on the balance between comfort and firmness, the VisCool is designed for those who sleep hot.

What level of firmness does it have?

The VisCool has a high firmness, offering solid support with the comfort of memory foam.

    Does VisCool® technology really work?

Yes. The VisCool® layer is designed to dissipate excess heat and maintain a more stable temperature, ideal for hot sleepers or those looking for coolness while sleeping.

    Is it suitable for couples?

Yes. Thanks to its Hybrid+ pocket spring system, it offers motion isolation: you will barely notice the other person's movements.

Does it breathe well in summer?

Yes, it is the coolest in the range. Its materials, along with the VisCool® layer and the spring core, promote air circulation and prevent heat buildup.

    How tall is the VisCool?

The Morfeo VisCool® Mattress has a height of 26 cm, the same height as the Original Hybrid.

    Is it hypoallergenic?

Yes. It is made with certified fabrics and materials free from harmful substances, resistant to mites and bacteria.

Can I wash the VisCool cover?

The cover is removable but should not be machine washed — the PCM fabric loses its thermoregulating ability with spinning. For occasional cleaning, use a damp cloth with neutral soap without rubbing and let it dry completely before replacing. We recommend always using a breathable mattress protector to keep the cover in perfect condition for years.

Up to what weight is this mattress guaranteed?

This mattress is guaranteed up to 95 kg per person. If you weigh more than 95 kg, the recommended model is the Morfeo XL Mattress, with a reinforced structure and available in the same sizes.

Can I try it at home before deciding?

Yes. You have 100 nights to try it in your home. If you are not convinced, we will pick it up for free and refund you.

How long does it take to arrive and what warranty does it have?

We manufacture it in Spain and deliver it to you in 3-7 business days on the mainland, with free shipping. It has a 10-year warranty.
