What is the height of the base?
24 cm in total: 5 cm upholstered board + 19 cm Nordic wooden legs. It is the ideal height to air out the bedroom, store slippers underneath, and get up comfortably without having to push yourself off — designed for adult use, not too low or excessively high.
How many legs does the Upholstered Base have?
It depends on the size. From 80×190 to 105×200 it has 4 legs (one in each corner). From 135×190 it includes 6 legs: 4 in the corners plus 2 central support legs, which eliminate any sinking or wobbling in double beds.
How is the upholstered base assembled?
We assemble it at your home for you, at no additional cost. The legs screw in by hand into the corners of the board, without tools, so if you ever move it, you can disassemble and reassemble it in no time.
How will I know which size to choose?
If you already have a mattress at home, you should choose the same size as the mattress you want to put on top.
If you are at that point where you decide to change it, choose the largest bed that fits in your room: you will appreciate the extra space on hot summer nights.
Can I combine it with a headboard?
Yes. The Kos Base is compatible with wall-mounted headboards (those that are anchored directly to the wall, not to the base). What about the large sizes? Does it fit through a standard door?
The 180×200 and 200×200 sizes are delivered divided into two parts precisely so they fit through any standard door or elevator without risk of damage. The joining system is done during assembly and remains invisible once assembled — without losing a gram of rigidity in the final structure.
