What is the difference between the FreshCool and Tencel mattress protector?

The FreshCool features thermoregulating fabric with PCM, designed for those who get hot. The Tencel is waterproof and made of Lyocell fabric, which is very soft to the touch.

What temperature should they be washed at?

Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C.

Does the protector cover the entire mattress?

No. It is a fitted sheet style: it covers the top and sides, with an elasticated perimeter. It is not a full zippered cover.

Why use a protector if my mattress has a cover?

Because a protector is easier to remove and wash than the mattress cover, and some models, such as the Nature, Altus, and Colchón XL, do not have a removable cover.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 14 days of receiving it, provided it has not been used.

A protector doesn't make the mattress more comfortable: it makes it last. It is the washable layer that absorbs sweat and stains which, otherwise, would end up inside the mattress.

Fitted sheet style

The protectors are fitted sheet style, with an elastic perimeter: they cover the top surface and the sides and can be removed in a minute. They are not a full zippered cover.

Washing

They are machine washed at 30 °C maximum. Washing them frequently keeps the mattress clean, especially in models without a removable cover, such as the Nature, the Altus, and the XL Mattress.
