Why go for Morfeo furniture?
FAQs
What's the height of the base?
24 cm total: 5 cm of upholstered headboard + 19 cm of wooden Nordic-style legs. It’s the ideal height for keeping the bedroom airy, storing slippers underneath, and getting out of bed comfortably without having to push yourself up—designed for adults, neither too low nor too high.
How many legs does the Upholstered Base come with?
It depends on the size. From 80×190 to 105×200, it has 4 legs (one at each corner). Starting at 135×190, it includes 6 legs: 4 at the corners plus 2 central support legs, which eliminate any sagging or rocking in double beds. It’s a technical detail that sets it apart from competitors’ bed bases, which only have 4 legs regardless of size.
How do you assemble the upholstered base?
It's super easy! You just need to screw the legs into the corners of the base board and… voilà! You're all set for a good night's sleep.
How will I know which size to pick?
If you already have a mattress at home, you should choose one that’s the same size as the one you want to put on top of it.
If you’re at the point where you’re deciding to replace it, choose the largest bed that will fit in your room: you’ll appreciate the extra space on hot summer nights.
Can I pair it with a headboard?
Yes. The Kos Base is compatible with wall-mounted headboards (those that are anchored directly to the wall, not to the base). If your headboard has legs or is bolted to the box spring, it is not compatible. If you’d like to see headboards designed to pair with this base, check out our headboard collection.
What about larger sizes? Will it fit through a standard door?
The 180×200 and 200×200 models are delivered in two separate parts so that they can fit through any standard doorway or elevator without risk of damage. The connection system is assembled during installation and is invisible once the unit is put together—without compromising the structural integrity of the final product in the slightest.
